Gordon Schweitzer, LEED AP, was selected as one of only 5 individuals who received the USGBC Young Leader Award at the 2009 Greenbuild Conference in Phoenix, AZ. The winners were selected based on their commitment to sustainability.
Gordon, a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of Dayton, has been involved in promoting Sustainability even before coming to Heapy. As President of UD’s Student Government Association, he helped pass a sustainability mission statement for the University. In his current role as a Sustainability Engineer, Gordon continues to promote green building as a member of Heapy Engineering's LEED and Energy Services Team.
