Jerry Yudelson - Keynote Speaker for 2010 Dayton Green Expo

Heapy Engineering looks forward to welcoming this year's keynote speaker, Jerry Yudelson, PE, MS, MBA, LEED AP BD+C/ID+C to its 5th Annual Dayton Green Expo on Thursday, August 5.

As a leading green building consultant, Jerry has been involved in marketing renewable energy systems, environmental remediation products and services, and green building design and consulting services for 25 years.  His goal is to accelerate market transformation to a greener future.  He has spent his career staying on the leading edge of energy and environmental technologies, designs and products.

Jerry is a former board member of the U.S. Green Building Council and chaired the annual Greenbuild conference from 2004 through 2009.  He is a frequent speaker at green building conferences around the world, appearing such places as the U.S., Australia, Canada, Germany, Qatar and the UAE in the past two years.

Jerry currently directs a project for Yudelson Associates (as part of a Team led by Heapy Engineering), to provide campus Sustainability Master Plan services for The Ohio State University.  Yudelson Associates has focused especially on establishing sustainability benchmarks for the campus of the future.  Jerry is a founding Board member of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), the leading national association for promoting and assessing campus sustainability.
