Our 45,000 SF state-of-the-art Headquarters in Dayton, Ohio serves as a working example of the building systems we design. The Heapy Headquarters is LEED Silver certified with the US Green Building Council and was a 2004 recipient of the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Energy Efficiency.

This high performance building is supported by a web-based LonWorks system that integrates the control of eight separate building systems on a single dedicated bus. A light-harvesting system is used in our spacious Lobby / Atrium / Library area to make use of available natural light. Occupancy sensors are used throughout the building. Radiant flooring is used to reduce the startup load for the VAV reheat systems and provide supplemental heat for the building perimeter. The building also uses a direct vented high efficiency boiler for heating purposes. A high density of zoning for all areas provides flexible and efficient control of the building comfort systems. Overall, our headquarters facility operates 35% more efficient than today’s energy code.
