Building Information Modeling Projects
Cedarville University Biblical Studies Center
AutoCAD MEP was used in conjunction with Revit Architecture to identify interferences or “clashes”. The Biblical Studies Center is a new facility that includes general classrooms, computer labs, student collaboration areas, the biblical education and academic assistance departments and two large assembly spaces.
Miami University Voice of America Classroom Building
The entire design team utilized the Revit family of products to help coordinate the design of this product and to identify interferences or “clashes”. The new 25,000 SF facility includes flexible classrooms, computer labs, conference rooms, lecture hall and administrative support areas.
Miami University School of Business
AutoCAD MEP was utilized on this project to model the
engineering system in an effort to help identify the conflicts or “clashes” between the structural steel and the engineering system components. The School of Business is a 210,000 SF building which includes a grand atrium, classrooms, offices and a 515 seat auditorium. This project is LEED Silver certified.
Franklin County Courthouse
The design team used the Revit family of products for this
project. This 7-story, 330,000 SF building that will house the Franklin County Common Pleas Courts and directly related functions, was completed using Revit Systems 1.0. This project is LEED Registered.
Avetec Office Building
The entire design team utilized the Revit family of products for design coordination and to identify interferences or “clashes”. The new building includes offices, conference
rooms, classrooms, auditorium, lunchroom, a data center and a common area for simulation, modeling and incubator space.
Northview Christian Life Center Church
The entire design team utilized the Revit family of products for design coordination and to identify interferences or “clashes”. Comprised of a new 2000 seat auditorium with two balconies, this sophisticated, A/V-intensive worship environment is designed to handle multiple Sunday services, and offers a 20x70 foot rear-projection screen.
Ohio Dominican University Battelle Hall
The entire design team utilized the Revit family of products for design coordination and to identify interferences or “clashes”. The 25,000 SF building includes flexible teaching laboratories, collaborative research laboratories, support spaces, general classrooms, and student social spaces.
Wright State University Diggs Laboratory
AutoCAD MEP was utilized on this project to model the engineering systems in an effort to identify the conflicts or “clashes” between the structural steel and the engineering systems. The new Biological Science building contains laboratories that consume about four times the energy of a normal classroom building. This project is LEED Gold certified.
Hocking College Energy Institute
The entire design team utilized the Revit family of products for coordination and to identify interferences or “clashes”. The facility design will be used to house a technical center for fuel cell and alternative energy training, a state-of-the-art incubator for establishing new businesses in the region, hands-on learning labs, and an applied research center. The project is LEED Platinum certified.
The Banks Parking Garage
Heapy Engineering utilized the Revit product platform to create an architectural model of the garage to coordinate overall MEP design of the project and to identify interferences or “clashes”. The new parking garage will have a total of 1778 parking spaces.
