Bowling Green State University Stroh Center Commissioning
Heapy is providing Commisisoning Services for the new 140,000 SF convocation Center facility. The Convocation Center will serve as home to the women's volleyball, and men's and women's basketball programs and will have seating for 5000 fans. The facility will incorporate a large lobby space and upper concourse to access the seating. The lower level will incorporate the athletic offices, storage, locker rooms and team store. The upper concourse to provide access to the concession stands, the Stroh Center Club and 
primary restrooms.
The building will also include the following:
- Locker rooms and meeting rooms for each of the three teams
- Office suite that houses all three programs and coaching staffs
- BGSU Athletics Hall of Fame
- Merchandise store
- Athletic ticket office
- Media/Press area
- Hospitality lounge
Commissioning services will include HVAC Air Systems, HVAC Heating Systems, HVAC Cooling Systems, HVAC Control System, HVAC Exhaust Systems, Thermal Scanning of the Building Envelope, Lighting Control System, Domestic water generation, distribution, pumping and mixing systems, Emergency Generator, Fire Alarm System, Electrical System, Egress Pressurization and Elevators.
This project is currently registered under LEED version 2.2 and will be commissioned by Heapy to satisfy the requirements for LEED certification.
The project has an estimated construction cost of $36 million and will be complete in 2012.
