The Ohio State University Ohio Union
Heapy is providing Commissioning Services for the new Ohio Union. The goal is to ensure that the systems have been well designed and are functioning properly prior to occupancy. As a part of the project, Heapy will also be confirming that the staff has had adequate training on the new systems and that documentation is available to them.
The Ohio Union is a 285,705 SF, 3-story structure with a construction budget of $69,000,000. The facility 
encompasses meeting spaces, ballrooms, food service, dining areas, staff office areas, student organization areas and student lounge areas.
The project was completed in 2010 with a total construction cost of $69,00,000.
This project is LEED-NC Silver Certified 
and was commissioned by Heapy to satisfy the requirements for LEED certification.
