City of Columbus Fire Station #10
Heapy Engineering is providing the Mechanical-Electrical design and LEED Program Management services for the new 21,328 SF Fire Station #10. The new structure will be a single story with four apparatus bays.
The new Fire Station #10 will replace the historic and oldest operating Fire Station in the City of Columbus. The new building will reflect the historic character of the area, but is LEED Certified in accordance with the Mayor’s “Green Initiative.” 
This project is LEED-NC Gold Certified.
Green elements will include: energy efficient lighting, HVAC systems, water usage efficiency, recycled materials, triple pane windows, polished concrete floors, and insulation.
The project was completed in 2009 with a total construction
cost of $4,454,208.
