Eurand Pharmaceuticals Research and Development
Heapy Engineering designed the Mechanical-Electrical systems for the 18,000 SF renovation and 8,000 SF addition for Eurand's Research and Development Center.
The building has administrative, research and manufacturing functions. The site is approved for processing of controlled substances and the integrated R&D and manufacturing units have organic-solvent processing capabilities.
Eurand is a specialty pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures and commercializes enhanced pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products using proprietary drug formulation technologies.
The project was completed in 2008.
