Diley Ridge Medical Center
Heapy Engineering designed the Mechanical-Electrical systems for the fast-tracked, new 34,000 SF freestanding Emergency Department with imaging and 10 patient rooms.
The Emergency Department has access to air and ground transport, a clinical laboratory, pharmacy, 24-hour emergency department and an imaging center with MRI, CT scan, X-ray, ultrasound, mammography services and bone density scan.
The Medical Center is home to a nearly 50,000 SF medical office building for specialty and primary care physicians. Located adjacent to the emergency center and connected by an enclosed walkway, the building offers new doctors to choose from for family and specialty care as well as the ease of receiving emergency and ongoing care in the same convenient location.
Heapy also provided LEED® Program Management Services for the project. The features included: preserving the existing habitat, selecting local plants resistant to drought, low flow plumbing fixtures, improved HVAC, lighting occupancy sensors and low VOC paints carpet and wood.
Diley Ridge is LEED Gold Certified. This project received certification under the LEED for New Construction rating system.
