Heapy Engineering designed the Mechanical-Electrical
systems for the new 25,000 SF undergraduate laboratory building that supports the need for graduates in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) disciplines in addition to the Nursing program.
Program spaces include flexible teaching laboratories, collaborative research laboratories, support spaces, general classrooms, and student social spaces.
Aligning with a campus goal of sustainability, this project is registered with the certification goal of LEED® Silver.
The project was completed in 2009 with a total construction cost of $7,400,000.
