The Ohio State University Softball Stadium
Heapy Engineering designed the Mechanical-Electrical systems for the new 1,500-seat, state-of-the-art, NCAA Division I Women’s Softball facility.
The new facility includes the following amenities:
- Player’s lounge, locker room, shower/dressing facilities
- Coach’s office and locker room
- Visitor’s locker room
Umpire’s dressing area - Recruiting lounge
- 650 SF Press box
- Field house that will include indoor batting cages – 3 batting/pitching tunnels
- Concession areas
The project was completed in 2008 with a total construction cost of 3,000,000 and Mechanical-Electrical cost of 1,700,000.
