St. Rita's Medical Center of the Future
Phase I included upgrades of the Medical complex’s mechanical and electrical infrastructure to modernize and add capacity to the Central Plant to serve the existing buildings, and in preparation for the construction of the new North Tower.
Phase II of this project includes (North Tower):
- 390,000 SF addition
- Nine-story patient tower equipped with the most advanced technology
- Specialty centers such as orthopedics, heart, cancer and neurology
- Each floor features multiple family lounges and a fully equipped kitchen
- A coffee shop, pharmacy, bigger gift shop, and health resource center were included
Our Commissioning Services include the following (HVAC) systems:
- Building Heating System including heat exchange equipment and pumps
- Steam System including humidification equipment in the new air handling units
- Chilled Water System including three (3) new and two (2) existing chillers, two (2) new cooling tower cells and pumps
- Central Air Handling Systems
- Terminal Units (Variable Air Volume Boxes) including field verification (hardware check) and functional testing of 15% of the actual number of boxes
- Unitary HVAC Equipment including unit heaters, convectors, fan coil units
- Exhaust Systems
- Automatic Temperature Control System including general operational checkout in conjunction with specific commissioned equipment and the sequences of operation
- Life Safety Systems as associated with the Smoke Evacuation System
Total project cost is approximately $120,000,000.
