To ensure that Heapy will be a strong advocate on our client’s LEED projects, Heapy Engineering has taken a comprehensive and integrated approach to Sustainable Design and the LEED rating system.
We do not simply talk about Sustainable Design/LEED, Heapy personnel:
- Continuously receive Sustainable Design and LEED training
- Review specific Sustainability subjects in our monthly in-house Technical Training sessions
- Incorporate practical Sustainable Design concepts into all projects
- Participate as members of an in-house Sustainable Design / LEED Committee. This committee meets on a regular basis to continually assess Green concepts and practices and the methods required to successfully integrate the best ideas into our client’s projects
We understand to successfully accomplish a LEED project all members of the project team must recognize the importance of maintaining the project’s LEED Certification goal, whether it be Certified, Silver, Gold or Platinum.
Heapy Engineering is a member of the USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council). Over 50% of our design professionals are LEED Accredited Professionals.
